Lumbini Itinerary

Day 1

Welkom to Kathmandu

A warm welcome upon arrival by our representative. Transfer to hotel in Kathmandu. Evening time is free.

Day 2

UNESCO sites sightseeing

After breakfast at hotel, our representative will meet you and brief you about the day’s sightseeing. Today we will pay a visit to three UNESCO sites, Boudhanath, Pasupatinath and Bhaktapur city. Night at Kathmandu hotel.

Day 3

We will drive towards Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha. On the way we will stopover to explore the “Monkey Temple” Swayambhunath. Check in at hotel in Lumbini. Evening time free.

Day 4

Today we will take our time to explore Lord Buddha’s birth place- Lumbini.

Day 5

Departure from Lumbini, drive back to Kathmandu. Check in at hotel.

Day 6

After breakfast we will pay a visit to Kapan monastery and Nagi Gompa.

Day 7

Airport drop for international flight.


This trip stops in all the important religios sites of Kathmandu before heading by road or flight to Lumbini, the birthplace of the Buddha. Guests will have time to explore the vast park which houses the archiological remains of the Kapilavastu Palace, where the Buddha was born and spent his formative years. The area is home to the pond where Maya Devi bathed herself before giving birth. Today, Lumbini is a pilgramige site for Buddhist from all over the world.
